Life's a Beach

Life's a Beach Vol. 1 & 2 by Memories by Digital Design will be on sale Saturday for the Super Saturday sales at Scraps N Pieces. I LOVE these word arts. There are SO many first of all. Since I lived in Florida for 13 years and we go back for a vacation at least once a year, I have tons of beach pictures I have never scrapped. I love these because they encompass everything I would want out of beach word art and they inspire me to pull out those old pictures and scrap! They give me great ideas! Plus nothing says they all have to be about the beach! Here are some of the layouts I've done using "Life's a Beach Vol. 1 & 2" "Wave Kissed Toes" also used a template from Memories by Digital Design. It was the "March THis and That Template pack" I used the kit "Combing the Beach" by Growing Pains Scrapped.

"Beach Baby" also uses "Template Pack 10" by AK Designs and Beyond the Sea by B2N2 Scraps

"Relaxing in Paradise" used "Big Picture Templates" by Memories by Digital Design as well as the kit "Froggy Bath" by Katybug Scraps.

"Drinks by the Pool" inspired me to scrap this picture from our honeymoon 5 years ago! I used Hot Summer Days by Just For Fun Designs with a March This and That template from Memories by Digital Design.

"Life's a Beach" is probably my favorite layout using the "Life's a Beach" word arts. How gorgeous is this word art with the sand look to it? I've gotten lots of compliments on this title and all the work was by the designer, I just recolored it! I used "Ride the Waves" by AmyDane Designs.

This layout uses "Watermelon Days" by Amy's Designs and "InstaFab 1 Templates" also by Memories by Digital Design.

Ann's Grace

I suggested a color palatte for a blog train at SNP a long time ago. It didn't get chosen but Karen Diamond Designs decided to use it and made Ann's Grace. It is a beautiful feminine kit that I just love! Thank you Karen for the kit! I used it to scrap the pictures from the wedding we went to yesterday on our 5 year anniversary. Aren't the colors perfect? The flowers in this kit are stunning and unique. I love the extra touches and details! You can get Ann's Grace at SNP here. While you are there check out the rest of Karen's store! Also I know I mentioned I would be using this template from Sunny Days by Memories by Digital Design exactly how it was made... So this is also that layout for you! Here is another one using a "Liberty Template" also by Memories by Digital Design. This one I changed a little by removing the stars.

Cheerful Nest

Ok so this has nothing to do with scrapping except that hopefully sooner rather than later I will be scrapping the results... But I had to give a plug to an AMAZING interior designer. Sarah at Cheerful Nest is amazing. She was able to take all my ideas and fully execute my vision for our bedroom in this fantastic mood board. I love that I can send her a picture of something I saw and she can not only tell me where to find it but what it's made out of and how I could find it or make it cheaper! She really is fantastic. The craziest part? She's never even seen my house or existing furniture except in pictures I took and she totally nailed it!!! I can't wait to commission her to do other rooms in our new house! Sunny Days Templates

I love templates! I hardly scrap without them anymore. I've probably said it before but the best part about templates is how many ways you can use them! Memories by Digital Design is my FAVORITE template designer. She started out making templates for SBC users and has now expanded to .psd formats too! Her new template back is an expansion on the blog train at SNP titled "Sunny Days" There are 5 templates in the pack but I changed some up to get even more use out of them! Here are my layouts with Memories by Digital Designs "Sunny Days Templates" that you can find here at SNP. And they are on sale 50% off right now! What a deal! Here is the original template used just as it was made. This layout was done with "American Spirit" by Amy's Designs. Then since I wanted a 2 page layout from Memorial Day I added to it with this layout! This is the template from the blog train. How awesome is it? I added little photos in the circles to get more photo spots! This layout used "School's Out" word art by Memories by Digital Design and "Tickle the Earth" by Wendy Tunison Designs. I love this one using "A Gentleman's Agreement" a collab between Wendy Tunison Designs and Busy Crafting Mommy Designs. This one also uses the "Extended Family Add-On" word art. Here is another layout using "A Gentleman's Agreement" and "Mommy & Me" Word Art by Memories by Digital Designs. Lastly here is the one that I changed the most. I love it the original way and can't wait to use that one but it inspired me to scrap my circus pictures with the ring theme. I added lots of pictures and more mats and rings! I used "Birthday Circus" by A-Manda Creation. I challenge you... change up your templates... turn them, add to them, subtract from them... you will love what you get!

Let's Play

Wow I'm behind on blogging! I thought I had done all of these but I guess I didn't! I am having such a hard time being a stay at home mom this summer and getting well... anything else done!
