Squeezed

I have another beautiful kit to introduce to you from B2N2 Scraps! Here is "Squeezed"! I love the warm yellow and orange with the cool light blue! There are so many fun papers to work with I was really able to have fun with this one! I absolutely love the flower elements in this one... from the glitter tinged orange rose to the blue string flower I wanted to use them all! Here are two of the layouts I did with "Squeezed" I didn't even get a chance to do an orange themed page yet and usually I start with the theme and then try to find a way to make a non-theme layout! This kit was just too easy to work with!

For the Birds

I'm back! This has to be a record blogging day at least for my scrapping blog! Amy's Designs released "For the Birds" today. What a fun kit to work with! The little birds are adorable and I love the "basic" elements as well. The soft colors are perfect for fun baby layouts, outdoor layouts, birdie layouts, the list goes on and on! You can pick up "For the Birds" at Scraps-N-Pieces. A little birdie told me it will be on sale this week!
Check out the layouts I did with "For the Birds" I am so bummed because I had another layout completely done of Ashlyn painting bird houses and my program crashed... yet another example of why you should ALWAYS save as you go! That layout will be added later once I get over my disappointment of starting over!

Love Is...

Love is... coming off Valentine's Day I have to say love is wonderful! The love of my husband, my children, my students... I am overflowing today! Who doesn't love going to a wedding and hearing 1 Chorinthians 13: 4-7... "Love is patient, love is kind... It does not envy..." I loved using B2N2 Scraps new kit "Love Is" to scrap the latest wedding I attended. Not only is this kit perfect for scrapping all things "love" but it matched the wedding colors perfectly!

I have a beautiful new kit to tell you about today! "Paper Hearts" by Katybug Scraps just released at Scraps N Pieces and at her store! How much do you love this kit? At first I wasn't sure how to use it but now I am ABSOLUTELY in love with it!!! I love it for pages with quotes like the page below of Ashlyn. I love it for pages about love and love notes. Here are two of the things I made with "Paper Hearts"... I love this layout of Ashlyn as a newborn. The purples work perfectly with black and white pictures! I love the subtle writing on the frame and other elements!

Here is my first attempt at a hybrid project. I saw this on Pinterest and wanted to do it but didn't know what kit to use. As soon as I saw Paper Hearts I was sold! I plan on framing this and hanging it in our family room of our new house (when we get one!). It is the dates we met, got engaged, got married and had each of our daughters!
